Well I have already been here just over a month and preseason is almost over. The team has their last preseason game this Thursday in Frankfurt and the first real game is next Wednesday. Their scrimmages have been a big mix of both good and bad, but that's how it goes. They won the Bosch Rexroth cup that our team hosted here in Wurzburg last weekend. Chris had over 20 points on both days and the team looked great. Then Munich came for a charity game here and they suddenly didn't look so great anymore. It just seemed to be a really bad day!
This past weekend they played in a tournament in Bonn and finished in 3rd place. After being ahead by twenty points, they lost their lead in the second half and lost the first game by one point to Bonn. To top it off, Chris got ejected from the game for some roughness with another player on the other team! That's the only time that has happened in the 9 years I have known him! My friends said it's a good thing I wasn't there to witness it. Luckily he was allowed to play in the second game on Sunday and the team won in overtime. Now enough of this preseason stuff, we are all very excited for the start of the regular season on October 3rd!
