At the beginning of the summer, Chris and I decided that we would like to have a party with our family and friends to celebrate our new home. After looking at the calendar, it turned out to work perfectly if we had the party on the exact date of our 5th anniversary. So we decided to have a double celebration! We had over 40 people at the party. My sister came early to help get everything ready and we made tons of food. Chris surprised me with replicas of the flowers we had at our wedding and they were beautiful! It was the first time in four years that Chris and I were actually together for our anniversary, so it was really special for us. We couldn't have asked for a better evening. Thank you to all of our wonderful friends and family for coming to celebrate with us and fill our home with love. What a perfect way to end our summer in the U.S.
