We enjoyed the last week of our US summer together eating lots of good ice cream, eating some delicious diner breakfast, firing up the grill for a last BBQ and spending time with our family here. Chris left yesterday morning and made it back to Germany safely. Poor guy had to go directly from the airport to Bremerhaven via a 5 hour train ride so that he could get all of our things from our apartment there. He spent the night at our old neighbor's and will head down to Würzburg tomorrow. Luckily his dad was able to make the trip with him. He will meet with the new team on Friday and start practice soon after. I will be joining him there soon!
