As most of you already know, the World Championship didn't go nearly as well as we had hoped for Germany. I think most people thought the team would definitely go to at least the second round. They just seemed to fall apart after the great Serbia win and couldnt get their rhythm back until the last game against Jordan when it was too late to fix their standings. They flew back to Germany last Friday. Although it wasn't the greatest outcome, we are still very thankful that Chris had the opportunity to play for Germany and he enjoyed playing with the team.
After he got home from Turkey, we got to spend 4 more days at Chris' parents so he could rest and we could pack up to move to Oldenburg. We were lucky we got to see a lot of his family and friends in that time.
