On Friday, we lost at Navarra 78-70. We were close the entire game and even had the lead at times, but the team just couldn't pull through in the end. They really looked like they fell apart when the pressure was on. Chris had 3 fouls and then got his fourth when someone threw the ball away and he got an intentional trying to stop the guy with the ball. The coach put him on the bench and didn't put him or the other big guy back in the rest of the game. It was pretty frustrating to watch them fall apart and have two of our best players sitting, but there was nothing we could do. We are very lucky that the second place team also lost their game, so we are still in first! This Friday we are playing the second place team, Hospitalet, at home. Hopefully this week the guys can pull it together and play like a team again.
On Saturday we went to Rob's game in Valladolid and then had our Saint Patrick's Day party at our house. We had some of Chris' teammates and my friends over. We made lots of green food - guacamole, fruit and dip, cookies, cupcakes, and crackers with green cream cheese. We had a fun night with everyone!
