Chris going up against one of their big guys
Yesterday's preseason game against Navarra (also in our league) was a disappointing game. The other team was definitely not a great team, and we better beat them in regular season. The guys just seemed tired and we had almost no shooting from outside the paint. You could really sense that the guys were struggling. They have been practicing a lot, probably actually too much and you could see their lack of energy. Chris actually did okay with his first double double on this team- 12 pts, 10 rebounds, and three dunks! Him and Stevie Johnson were the top players for our team. However, he was 6/11 shooting so he definitely wasn't at his best either. We can only imagine how good his stats would have been on a better day! Here is a nice picture of him from the paper. Their last preseason game is this Sunday against a team in the league below us. Hopefully they will have a better day.
