A Win on the Road and a trip to see friends!

The guys finally broke their streak of losing on the road yesterday! They played really well and seemed much better than on the past few road games. Chris had 13 points and 6 rebounds in 25 minutes. He also played good defense as he helped hold their big guy, the MVP of the league this season, to only 6 points!

Today we went to Leon, a city 1.5 hours away, to meet up with my friend Amber and see her husband's game. We met for the first time this summer at a basketwives dinner in Philadelphia, and this was the first time we got together in Spain and our husbands got to meet. He had a great game and afterwards we had a nice little Turkish dinner together. We went early so that we could see some of the city before the game. They have a beautiful cathedral and some pretty architecture. It was nice to get away a little and do something different.
