Last week we had a big win at home against Chris' old team Prat. He wasnt able to play much due to the absolutely ridiculous reffing and him fouling out, but he did okay when he was in and we won! The atmosphere was crazy at the end as the refs continued to make awful calls and the guys got more and more agressive. Their big guy even dislocated his arm as he tried to foul Chris when he was going up for a shot...can't say he didnt ask for it! It was nice to see our old friends from Barcelona and catch up a little after the game. We even got a little gift of a little poster of pictures from last season with them that one of the wives made it for us.
We had our Halloween party last Saturday. We were the only ones to wear costumes...party poopers! Anyway, it wasn't too exciting. First we found out all grocery stores were closed that day because of a holiday and we hadn't went shopping for our food yet! We ended up improvising, and I made meatballs for the first time which turned out really well. We just thought it was a let down after planning it for two weeks and decorating everything. A lot of people didn't show up and no one seemed to be very excited. Either way, we had fun dressing up and decorating our apartment together!
