Our Eisbaren got the weekend off while the top four teams were off battling it out in the final four cup in Bonn. We knew this could be the last free weekend of the season so we were determined to get away somewhere! With only two days, we knew we couldn't fly somewhere warm and beachy so we started looking up places not so far away. Our good friends from Oldenburg, Robin and Angela, told us they were going to Robin's hometown, Braunschweig, for the weekend and said we should meet up with them there. So we decided to spend our weekend with them. It was an absolutely beautiful weekend, by far the nicest we have had this year. We had never been to Braunschweig, so we enjoyed touring the city with pretty old buildings and lots of great shopping! It was the perfect weekend getaway. Thanks Robin and Angela for inviting us to spend it with you!
