Adios a los Russos

Last night was a much anticipated Eurochallenge game against the Russian team, the only team that beat us in this round. It was also our first home game in 6 weeks. They beat us by 9 there, so we knew we had to beat them by at least that much to get the home court advantage in the quarterfinals. It was a close one until the third quarter. We were only up by 3 at halftime. Finally our team broke away and we ended up winning by 21! It was a good crowd for a Tuesday night game, a lot more people than there normally are for the eurochallenge games. Chris didn't have much luck with his shots going in, but he still had a good game and did a lot of other things. Sooo on to the quarterfinals we go! It is the best of 3 games, so we will be hosting the first game on March 23rd, play the second game away on the 25th, and hopefully be done! If not, we will play the third game at home on March 30th when Zach will be here. He's going to see a lot of games, so he better bring some good luck with him!
