After the guys finished practice on the 24th, we headed out to drive to Chris' parents for Christmas. The traffic wasn't bad and we made it in just under 3 hours. We had a nice dinner with his family and then went to Christmas Eve service at their church. After church we opened our presents and had coffee and dessert. Dixon was pretty good and everyone loved him. He even got a Christmas gift from David and Christa which he helped us open.
On Christmas day we had a nice lunch of Goose, Knudel, and Blaukraut at the Noacks house in Rothenberg. After dessert we had to head back to Gottingen so Chris could make it to his practice at 7. Although we didnt even spend a full 24 hours there, we actually didnt feel rushed and were able to relax and have fun with everyone. It was nice for Chris to be able to be with his family for Christmas for the first time in several years!
Yesterday the guys had an exciting game in Berlin against Alba, who was in 1st place. They won 88 -82! It was a really important win for them and actually the first game Berlin lost at home this season!
