Chris at the game in Russia
It was a great week for our team! They won an important game against Bonn at home on Tuesday, a huge road game against MBC on Sa:turday, and then to top it all off, they won their first Eurochallenge game against Russia last night!
They finally broke their streak of losing on the road and played a great game at MBC, who is ranked just a little above us right now. Chris' brother and a few of his friends went to the game and definitely chose a great game to watch. They won 95-71 and Chris had 8 points and 9 rbs.
The guys left Monday morning for their 14 hour trip to Russia. It was the first time Gottingen played in a European competition, and they proved that they deserved the spot! They took the lead in the 1st quarter and kept it the entire game to win it 88-76. Chris had a great game with 11 pts, 5 rbs, and 2 steals! The next Euro game will be on Tuesday at home vs. Gravelines, but first we have a regular league game at home this Saturday vs. Gravelines. game article and stats
Tomorrow evening we are having a Thanksgiving dinner together and all of the girls are cooking. It won't be the same without all of you, but we will make the most of it. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
