Lindsey's trip to Spain!

We had a lot of fun on Lindsey's visit to Palencia. Linds and I went to Burgos, Valladolid, and Salamanca together, and Chris took us to Segovia to see the castle and cathedral there. We really got to see a lot despite the freezing weather and one snowstorm! When we went to Burgos to see the third largest cathedral in Spain, it was so windy and cold that we were practically running from building to building, but the cathedral was well worth it. It was the only one we went to that you could go in every part, and it was really beautiful. We traveled by bus to Salamanca, an old university city two hours away. It had a lot of pretty buildings to see and we got to climb the tower to go on top of the cathedral. In Segovia, we got to see the last gothic church made in Spain and the amazing Alcazar that looks like a fairy tale castle. Lindsey got to meet all of my friends and we even had a girls night when they came over to teach her how to make her new favorite spanish food, the tortilla. The time went fast, but it was fun!
