Last weekend Chris' parents were here to visit. We drove together to see his game in Hagen on Saturday, took a little trip up to the beach on Sunday and toured some Oldenburg and went to the movies on Monday. We went to see Due Date as it was the only movie in English and it was really funny. Definitely not very realistic, but good for laughs. On Tuesday, we had our first Eurocup game at home against Unics Kazan, a very good team. Although we lost, the guys showed improvement from their big loss in Hagen and kept up with the Russians most of the game. Our big guys handled their 7'6" center very well! The team is flying out to France on Tuesday for their second Eurocup game against Le Mans. Hopefully we can get our first Eurocup win!
Bridgett is coming this week! She will be staying from Wednesday until next Tuesday. We have lots of fun stuff planned! We are excited to go to several Christmas markets, visit Hamburg, see Chris' game in Bonn, and go to a nearby castle's Christmas celebration.
Robin, Fie, Kara and I started planning our Thanksgiving dinner. We are getting excited to celebrate together and eat lots of good food! Hopefully we can celebrate on Thursday afternoon, but we will see what the guys schedule is.
And last but not least, the Oldenburg Christmas Market opens this week and stays open everyday until Christmas! We are all ready for the good food, hot Gluhwein, ice skating, and holiday atmosphere!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving everyone. We will miss celebrating with you!
