After a terrible loss on the road, it was great to get away for a little bit. The guys just didn't play well at all. They can't seem to make their 3's and had a ridiculous amount of turnovers. Chris didn't have his best game, but he did okay with 11 points, 4 rbs, and a block. He came home at 5 AM after the bus trip and we left at 11 to go to Santander. We really wanted to do something and see one of the nearby cities before winter comes. We are so glad we chose to go to Santander, because it was absolutely beautiful! I have to say its definitely one of the prettiest places I have been to. We had a great hotel close to the beach with a great price because its off season now. We arrived in less than two hours, checked in to our hotel, and began our adventure. We went to the lighthouse, walked out on to the cliff, went to the peninsula where there were huge waves and some sea lions and penguins, downtown for some shopping and ice cream, dinner, and then to the casino...phew! Sunday we woke up and rented some bikes to ride around on the peninsula and see the palace, and then we rode along the coast to the port and took one last rest admiring the scenery. I was definitely a little rusty with my bike skills. As i was riding down the sidewalk swerving not to hit people and trying not to fall over, I keep turning around to see Chris following me and laughing at me!!! Totally his idea, but it was really fun in the end. We are very happy that we had a great trip and got to see such a wonderful place.
